Our statement of purpose
THE WONDER
WARTHOG MISSION:

Wonder Warthog Racing (WWR) is on a inspired mission: We stand poised to make things better, not only for ourselves, but for all whose paths cross our own . . . be they friend or foe; though fraught with peril our journey may be, we will persevere, because we can. WWR will be life affirming for all involved.

WWR is empowered and purposeful in our singular quest to help our sport of motocross to become the standard by which all other Motorsports are measured; we will strive to embody and embrace this vision by living with the following principles clearly in mind:

Principle #1 - Support the Privateer

WWR will focus with intensity on bettering the lot of the privateer racer; we pledge to allocate a substantial portion of our time and resources to that end. We will be unique in the manner in which we support the privateer. Support that is apathetic and shortsighted will find no home here. We affirm that we’ll be attentive to the needs of all our associates that join us on our quest to address the plight of the privateer so that our combined efforts will yield real and measurable results.

Principle #2 – Be Financially Successful

WWR will be completely and unquestionably financially successful. However, our financial success will spring from altruism and good works, not greed and avarice.

Principle #3 – Seek the Truth

WWR will seek out the truth and stomp out injustice whenever we see it. We will instill in those around us a new communication philosophy, in which the truth is paramount and shall never be squelched for fear of retribution or to avoid consequence. We will encourage and debate dissenting opinions and world views. By embracing the truth, a working environment will be created in which office politics and backbiting will be a thing of the past. WWR will always have the courage to speak out and smack down those whose greed, incompetence, dishonesty, hypocrisy, sloth, hubris, or other character flaws threaten the sports we love and cherish.

Principle #4 – Embody Excellence

WWR will relentlessly focus on quality in all aspects of our business operations. Half-assed responses and temporary fixes are stricken from our operating philosophy. Shoddy products, services, attitudes and operations will be unacceptable. We will root out the cause of these diseases wherever they reside and take decisive and true actions to terminate and vaccinate to avoid the spread of anything that opposes what we stand for. WWR will equal excellence.

Principle #5 – Have Fun

WWR will be about fun in the context of business. We will succeed and we will fail but we will not allow our fortunes to determine our degree of happiness. We’ll take the time to care for each other. Should we become aware of debilitating vices, we will intervene with intensity. Anyone found guilty of taking themselves too seriously will be flogged in the employee lunchroom by the three newest team members. Laughter will be the norm at WWR. WWR will be a joyful place to work and be around.

Principle #6 – Remember Who We Are

We will never forget what got us here – The support of our families, friends, and acquaintances along the way. To them, we will forever be indebted. Our gratitude will not diminish with success.

Principle #7 – Leave a Great Legacy

WWR will transform the industries and sports we love for the better. At the end of the day, we will leave behind a legacy of excellence and goodwill. On that day, we will die with great pride in these works.
